From now until September 11th, the sunflowers at Clear Meadow Farm are in full bloom. Although these flowers are not available for picking, they allow for a beautiful fall photograph of your little ones playing among the blooms. The sunflower field can be found in Monkton, Maryland. Family Fun at Jones Family Farm
Located in both Edgewood and Street, Maryland, Jones Family Farm is the perfect place to enjoy some fall fun. Families throughout the area can enjoy pumpkins in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. Jump onto the Pumpkin Patch wagon and take the scenic ride through the farm for some prime pumpkin picking. You can also choose from a variety of other fall decorations including gourds, hay bales, and mums for your fall display.
A Variety at Applewood Farm
If you are looking for a farm with more than just pumpkins, you should check out Applewood Farm. Applewood Farm has a variety of things for your family to enjoy every weekend from September 24th through October 30th. Admission to the farm starts at $4.00 but children under three are free. Admission includes hayrides, moon bounces, a trip to the petting zoo, the corn and kiddie mazes, a view of the model trains, spooky spot, the playground, a picnic area, and the pedal tractors. For an additional fee of $4.00 per person, you can also take a ride on the express train. Take a lunch and enjoy a day of fun and pumpkin picking.
