As we enter the height of summer in July, it’s time to plan a few summer events before the season is over! There are always fun events going on in Harford County around the Apartments of Harborside Village, and we want to ensure everyone gets out and has a great time this summer! Summer Friday Movie Nights- July 5 & 19, August 2 & 16
It’s time for summer movie nights in Shamrock Park, Bel Air! A few times a year, the community comes together to watch a family-friendly movie under the stars. The Bel Air Downtown Alliance’s movie nights happen on Friday nights from 7:15-10:00 pm. In addition to the free movie and popcorn, there will also be food trucks at the event if you would like to purchase dinner. This Friday, July 5, the movie is Mary Poppins Returns! (July 19: Incredibles 2; August 2: Small Foot; August 16: Trolls.)
Spring Into Summer 5K Run/Walk- July 14
This summer marks the 3rd Annual Spring into Summer 5K to support Athletes Serving Athletes. The run/walk takes place at Harford Community College in Bel Air and offers cash prizes to the overall finishers as well as medals to top age group finishers. Kids 6 years old and younger are free (registration is still required); Ages 7-17: $30; Ages 18 and up: $40. Be sure to register before July 11th!
The Falling Branch Brewery Craft Festival- July 21
This Falling Branch Brewery in Street, MD is hosting their 1st annual craft festival on Sunday, July 21 from 11am-4pm. The festival is sure to be a great way to spend a summer Sunday as it will include lots of unique handmade crafters, artisan, produce, and baked good vendors.
Bel Air Fourth Fridays- July 26
July 26th is the last Friday in July, meaning that it is the night of Bel Air Fourth Fridays! Harford County’s best block party takes place in Downtown Bel Air from 5-8pm and is free for all. The event will feature live music, a beer and wine garden, face painting, games, and lots of delicious food options!
