It can be a conundrum when you want to add delightful hanging plants to your apartment balcony, but you don’t really have a lot of time to manage daily watering and regular care such as fertilizing and trimming. Thankfully, succulents are excellent low-maintenance plants that will add some fun and interest to your apartment balcony. Hanging succulents will bring the whimsy and visual interest your balcony needs to be the talk of the town.
Burro’s Tail
Sedum Burrito

This succulent is closely related to Donkey’s Tail (Sedum Morganianum) with the only real difference being that Burro’s Tail does not grow as long as Donkey’s Tail does. Donkey’s Tail will grow up to 4 feet long, while Burro’s Tail grows up to around 3.3 feet long.

It features small, ball-shaped leaves on long, thin stems which is where it gets its name. It features small white blooms from spring through fall, making it a cheerful addition to any space.
