Do you remember how much fun it was to build a blanket fort as a child? There’s no reason why you can’t build one now in your living room! All you need is some chairs, blankets, and whatever furniture is already in the room. Arrange chairs in a square or circle with the backs pointing towards what will be the inside of the fort. Lay some sheets or blankets on top and attach them to the chairs with rubber bands, clamps, or pins. Put weights or heavy objects on the outside of the blankets to make sure that the roof won’t fall down.
Breakfast in Bed
Breakfast in bed is a classic romantic date idea, but most of the time breakfast means the morning. For a fun twist on a date night, have breakfast in bed at night! You can get breakfast food in the morning and then plate it creatively at night or make pancakes once the sun sets and decorate with strawberries and whipped cream. Make some mimosas or Bloody Marys and bring the laptop into the bedroom to watch some Netflix while you eat!
Have a Floor Picnic in the Dining Room
Instead of eating on your dining room table, spread out a blanket or tablecloth and have a picnic on the floor. Order takeout from your favorite restaurant or pick up dinner on the way home for a quick and romantic date night idea.
