With the holidays quickly approaching, there are many different events coming to the area. From adult concerts to fun for the whole family, we have a definitive list of events for you and your family to enjoy!
The Week of December 7-13th
One of the events that is always a big hit is the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s The Nutcracker. This event will be gracing the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall stage. Or you can see a full production by the BSO and the Baltimore School for the Arts at the Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric this week. Also this week, Ladew Gardens celebrates “The Colors of Christmas” as local artists and Garden Clubs decorate the 1747 Manor House. This event features an exceptional green sales and seasonal music. Stop by the Ladew Café for lunch. Help kick off your holiday season with the holiday movie night at the Bel Air Armory on December 11th at 7:00 PM. Bring blankets and enjoy plenty of holiday cheer and free popcorn.
Month Long Events
The HdG Holiday Express is back in town this year! Stop by 137 Washington Street to see our 75 foot HO scale model railroad display. Check out the local vendors in the area and at the event. There will also be appearances by Santa. Come to the Havre de Grace Ice Skating rink for some icy winter fun. Check out Hutchins Park for the fun. Enjoy some great family time or with your non-profit group. Skate rentals are available. For a different event, check out the Inner Harbor’s German Christmas Village. With more than 60 booths of vendors selling traditional European foods, drinks, and sweets, this event is fun for the entire family. You can also experience great shopping for international holiday gifts, Christmas ornaments, jewelry, and arts and crafts. You’ll be comfortable in the heated tent and enjoy tons of holiday cheer!
